Chapter Officers’ Job Descriptions

Chief
- Assume the responsibilities for the operation of the chapter.
- Represents Chapter at all Lodge functions including Lodge Exe. Meeting and have chapter officers attend with him.
- Give Leadership to Chapter Officers.
- Responsible for the recruiting and training of Chapter Chairmen.
- Work with Chapter Adviser to assure a smooth chapter operation.
- Make sure that Chapter Officers are responsible for their chairmen.
- Have meaningful Chapter Service Projects and Chapter Meetings.
First Vice-Chief
- Assist work with Chapter Chief’s duties when needed.
- Be responsible for working with assigned chairmen. (Camp Promotion Chairman, Service Chairman, Program Chairman)
- Attend all chapter and lodge events and other events as told by chief.
- Reports to Chief.
Second Vice-Chief
- Assist and work with the Chapter Chief.
- Responsible for working with his chairmen. (Brotherhood Chairman, Ordeal Chairman, Induction/Enrichment and Elangomat Chairman)
- Be in attendance at all chapter and lodge events and when asked by chief.
Secretary
- Assist and work with the Chapter Chief.
- Responsible to make sure that mailings are made and minutes written for each meeting.
- Responsible for Troop Representative Chairman and the Webmaster Chairmen and their duties.
- Responsible to make sure that chapter’s lookout articles are submitted on time and written well.
- Ensure that the Chapter Officers and Chairmen are contacted when told by chief and are in attendance at all events.
